Q: What if we have a scheduling conflict and can't make practices or need to start later in the season?
A: This is common. Show up to what you can. Just use our TeamSnap APP to let everyone know if you will be at practice or not.
Q: What if we can't make some or any races?
A: Very few families make all the races. Some kids would rather watch. Some kids go for it. Some kids experience races as a social event. They are healthy, fun events so although there are no obligations to attend, everyone is included if they want to be.
Q: If Bikes Are The Answer, what is the question?
A: We have no idea but we are really stoked that we know the answer so we stopped asking about the questions.
Q: What does "beginner" mean?
A: We use beginner to refer to entry level for cross country mountain biking on trails and moderately technical terrain. We take kids who can ride a bike for 45 min to an hour and make them comfortable, competent and skilled at riding mountain bike trails with friends for multiple hours. Some choose to race. All are capable of it if they want.
Q: Why participate in the Montana program?
A: These people are fun and their events are a blast. It is an easy formula for an awesome summer so Coach George and Coach Brian asked if we could join and the NICA MT crew said sure. Brilliant!
Q: Who is Koda and why is he answering my questions?
A: Although coaches are licensed professionals, Koda is a dog. Some people insist he is a cat because he chases a red laser dot. DNA tests are clear, he is a dog. He is also the web master. Adjust expectations accordingly.
